BOARD OVERVIEW

OUR PERFORMANCE ALL-ROUNDER. NEXT IN LINE OF OUR FAVOURITE FUSIONS EVER.

Xero Gravity is the next in line of our favourite all-rounders ever. Ridden the same dimensions as your Monsta Box, with the same magic rocker, this will be your everyday board even more geared to high performance surfing than the Xero Fusion, which in comparison has the slightly flatter Blak Box rocker and a fuller outline. Xero Gravity also features a similar foil to the Xero Fusion, with foam hidden in the deck, but a slightly pulled down rail that’s fine tuned for manoeuvrability & quick response.

We’ve streamlined the range while keeping all the nuance and specialised qualities you want to have a board model for each type of wave. Want a super groveller? That’s the Sub Xero. A more performance-oriented option to handle flatter conditions? That’s the Xero Fusion, which is closest to your original Blak Box. And for a performance all-rounder – that’s right here, the Xero Gravity.

It’s our direct update on the board that won QS and CT events in the type of conditions we all surf day in, day out. And it was voted the Australian board of the year back-to-back, due to overdelivering in countless sessions for regular surfers in average to pumping waves. If the Monsta Box made you enjoy surfing more, Xero Gravity will send you to the moon.

XERO GRAVITY

WAVE TYPE

2-6ft, or waist high to well overhead. Great in many conditions from crumbly, flatter wave faces to good quality surf with hollow sections. The rocker has been proven over time to be the most versatile in the x-series.

XERO GRAVITY

Features

Rocker

Medium low entry and exit rocker, with a large sweet spot under front foot.

Fin setup

The Xero Gravity comes stock as a thruster. Alternative setups are available with custom orders.

Glassing specs

Boards 5'6" - 5'11" glassed standard with 4 oz. deck x 4 oz. bottom. Boards 5'11" - 6'4" glassed 4 x 3 oz. deck and 4 oz. bottom. 6'6 and up glassed standard with 4 x 4 oz deck x 4 oz. bottom (All sizes come standard with Hybrid Fibre tail strips)

Rail type

The Xero Gravity has medium full rails, the same as the Monsta Box. This forgiving performance based rail shape allows for precision when the right section stands up, yet has enough volume to get you through fat sections or avoid catch in chop.

XERO GRAVITY

CONCAVE

Slightly deeper concave than the Monsta Box giving a greater sweet spot, deep throughout for greater lift, suiting smaller / less powerful conditions. Single concave under front foot moves to double concave between the fins. Based on team favourites, JS chose to go back to his “reverse concave” which is deeper under front foot and shallower at each end of the board. We found this to be the fastest of them all, as it creates maximum water flow.

    Awesome board

Can’t say I’ve surfed a lot of boards, but this one is the best of all stuff I’ve tried so far. First time I’ve popped up on it, it felt like I surfed it for years. Super responsive, super predictable.

The rocker is closer to medium rather than low, so it isn’t an effortless paddle, but surprisingly it catches waves with ease. Also you gotta do some rail work to gain speed as the amount of rocker is enough to slow it down while going flat, but it still works pretty good in small surf while the waves are still more or less punchy. But XG really shows itself when the swell goes overhead.

I loved the board so much that when a heavy overhead almost slashed it in two pieces the next day I bought it (which might mean that hifi is not a strongest construction ever), and I newer hesitated to get a new one right away.

    JS Just Gets better

Mate, let me tell you about the wild times I have had with the Xero Gravity surfboard in good old Tassie! This board is like my trusty sidekick, ready to take on the quirky waves and unpredictable weather down here. It has become my go-to board for a good reason. Its versatility is outstanding. No matter what type of wave I encounter, whether it's small and average or pumping, and powerful, the Xero Gravity performs exceptionally well. Its medium rocker provides a balance of speed and maneuverability, while the well-designed rails offer stability and forgiveness. It allows me to enjoy my surfing sessions to the fullest. Thanks, once again JS.

Xero Gravity - Next level Performance

As you can see in pic I’ve surfed JS for years and in 2016 I found their best model , the Air 17 gave me a gold in the Aussie games and then after snapping it in some heavy pits I almost brought another one but chose the Xero Gravity, what an epic choice. The Xero Gravity has delivered the best of the Air 17 and taken performance surfing to the next level. This board belongs in everybody quiver🤙🏼

Mounting⁉︎ Xero Gravity vs Monsta box

The new model, Xero Gravity, provides me with the sensation of moonwalking due to its perfect balance. The paddling experience is incredibly smooth, and this surfboard has the ability to capture your riding image in all wave conditions. Cheers^ ^
