DAMIEN HOBGOOD

 Known for his powerful and committed style, he made a name for himself on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour in the early 2000s. Damian quickly gained a reputation as a fierce competitor, excelling in heavy and challenging waves around the world.

One of his most notable achievements was winning the prestigious Fiji Pro in 2004, where he showcased his mastery of the powerful and barreling waves of Cloudbreak. Renowned for his tube-riding skills, especially at spots like Teahupo'o and Pipeline, Damian built a legacy as a fearless surfer in big, dangerous conditions.

After stepping away from the Championship Tour, he shifted his focus to big wave surfing and media projects, sharing his passion through surf films and environmental initiatives.

Today, Damian Hobgood remains an iconic figure in the surf world, respected for his dedication, humility, and lasting influence on the global surfing community.
