He first gained recognition on the international surf circuit in his teens, quickly becoming known for his natural talent and ability to perform on a variety of waves. His breakthrough moment came when he earned a spot on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour, where he showcased his powerful, high-performance style and impressive wave selection
